NEW YEAR'S EVE
Last year I spent NYE on a beach in Brazil while my mate DJ'd to 100,000 people inbetween taking the piss out of the trance DJ that was booked on the same bill.
This year things are taking place a little closer to home. We are joining forces with a couple of London club tribes who know a thing or two about throwing a party.
Secretsundaze [no spaces]
- Giles and James are joined by Delano Smith and Wbeeza in the basement.
Tothebone [also no spaces!]
-We are upstairs with Charlie, Rik and Dave. Purveyors of fine music and casters of pod. Check out their latest show here.

Friday tunes - Redux special
As you've probably already seen, we have a party coming up with Andy Whittaker, the man behind Redux (as well as 20:20 Vision, Lunar Jam, and who knows what other mysterious exploits), we thought we'd treat you to a couple of tunes... Especially since it's a Friday.
The first is a tasty little download for you all... A track of the DrrtyHaze 'Make My Body Hot' 12", remixed by the Popular People's Front. It's a great little package, with three solid tracks - track it down!
Download DrrtyHaze 'New York City Jacks' PPF Remix
The second is a pure un-adulterated slice of Balearica, amongst the finest records of it's time and one that I rarely leave home without. Sit back and spend seven minutes pretending your standing on the hills of Formentara, looking out as the sun rises over the Mediteranian (whilst very, very high).

11 December / WAOTCT ft. Redux
Hope you can join us for the next edition of Who’s Afraid of the Cosmic Truth where we’ll be joined by Andy Whittaker and Dave O.
Andy 'Ticker' Whittaker is the good honest Yorkshireman behind the legendary 20:20 Vision label (along with Basics resident Ralph Lawson), and the mysterious Redux imprint - signing the likes of Greg Wilson, Toby Tobias and Pete Herbert.
In addition to playing over the globe, he is resident at Asylum (Leeds), where they’ve played host to everyone from Metro Area to Horse Meat Disco.
In his spare time he’s splicing together old Cosmic records, and putting on parties in pubs as part of Lunar Jam. A man after our own heart, obviously! http://www.myspace.com/lunarjam
Dave O, meanwhile, is a bit more of a mysterious character. One of the original resident’s at All Nations House, a basement club in deepest darkest Hackney, where back in the day they’d be busting out reggae with bass so low it’d shake all the way to Clapton. Who knows what the All Nations sound will bring...
The party will be held in our secret loft again – get down early to guarantee entry. And regular attendees please note it's FRIDAY this time.
See you there!
